    Hey guys!

This is different from the usual post that I do but I really wanted to reflect on my year this year and share it with you guys.

Honestly I can't wait for this year to be over mainly because I like the number 7 and 2017 has that in it, I'm just kidding, but really I just can't wait to get a fresh new start [again].
I've discovered many things about myself this year:
    1. I'm passionate about blogging
    2. Turns out I like makeup
    3. I love photography and video making
    4. As well as video editing
    5. I can ace a test as long as laziness doesn't get to me first
    6. I find it easier to make friends with guys
    7. I get easily upset

    And many other more.

I have so many plans regarding my blog next year. As soon as possible I'd really want to polish this by the end of February 2017, by then I would want to establish what my blog is really about, I know that I want to do beauty and lifestyle but I'm not sure about fashion yet. For now I'm just going to include that [still] on my banner since I'm too lazy to change it.

This is probably going to be my last post for the year 2016. I started in October but didn't really got into this [blogging] 'till November, but even then I managed to publish 16 post including this which is kind of a big deal for me considering I tend to stop posting after 3 posts.

I'm just really excited for 2017.

    Happy New Year everyone!

    Hey guys!

Today I wanted to share to you some of the home remedies that I've researched or found across the internet and books that I've read. I know a lot of people loose interest when there's no pictures around an article, so I made a little infographic so you wouldn't get bored.

This is my first time making one (infographic) so I'm sorry if it isn't any good.

For those of you who are wondering, for the dry skin, both avocado and honey are rich in moisturizing properties which obviously helps for your dry skin. The strawberries, for the oily skin, have astringent properties which are great in cleansing oily skin.

Also you may do all of these twice a week for a better result, but really that's totally up to you.

    Hey guys!

How was your Christmas? Mine was absolutely great because I got to spend it with my family complete this year to which I am so happy about. I wanted to do a quick review on this eyeshadow palette that I got for Christmas from a friend. I wouldn't be able to include how much this cost since like I said, I got this as a present.

This is an eyeshadow palette from Fashion 21. I think it's a local brand here in the Philippines, I'm not really sure since it doesn't come up in the search bar whenever I try to search about its origin. Forever 21 keeps popping up instead so I gave up on knowing.

The palette has 48 shades, each one doesn't have a specific name to them just numbers as you can see in the picture below.

I tried to do a swatch on my arm but for some reason they all came out very light. Maybe because I didn't pressed on very well, I kind of didn't want to ruin the palette. But when I applied it on over my eyelids, it was pigmented and I really like the colors.

I can definitely see myself making a makeup tutorial using this palette very soon.

I like the fact that it comes with two applicators though I wouldn't use it on myself and instead use the Kabuki Brush that I've bought, I would probably use it when I forget my makeup brushes or when I want to save space in my makeup bag when travelling. I also like the mirror it comes with it's really useful.

Overall, I really liked this gift so thank you so much for giving this to me Micah!

    Hey guys!

Christmas is just around the corner and I know some of you are in a rush to get your family and friends the perfect gift for this holiday. You're not alone I, myself, am also in a rush to get my friend's gifts mainly because I couldn't think of what to give them earlier this month.

I thought it'd be a fun idea to help and share with you guys what I think is best and meaningful gift to give out to your family and friends, so without further ado here are some of my ideas.

    1. Witty Mugs

This is actually my favorite mug, it says "I don't give a sip". I can't really remember exactly how much this was just the fact that it was around PHP 60 (about $1.21), I bought this at the SM Department Store but I'm sure it's available at any store selling mugs as well.

There were a bunch of these with captions like "Don't go BACON my heart" and "I couldn't if I FRIED" etc., it was really funny but I chose "I don't give a sip" instead since it caught my eyes and my heart the moment I laid eyes on it.

You can also customize one of your own to make it more meaningful, all you need is a simple white mug or any color of your choice and an oil based sharpie paint pens and you're good to go. Regular sharpies will wash off once you put them in the dish washer.

    2. Scrapbook

    Materials:
    Pens
    Tapes or Glues
    Patterned and Colored Papers
    Scissors
    Stickers
    Album

I personally think it's best if you partner this along with your witty mug. The materials needed seems like a lot but it really just depends on how you want to design it, in my case my friend gave me this scrapbook wherein it's mostly just a bunch of pictures of us together, her own drawn designs, and some short messages on each page.

I'm a type of person who likes to treasure memories so for her to give me this, I really appreciated it.

    3. Polaroid

This is perfect for that friend or family member who likes to take photos, especially if they are a photographer. You can find this at any shop that sells cameras for around PHP 4,500 (about $90) including the film needed for it. That is just an estimated price not the actual one.

If I am not mistaken there are six colors in which you can choose from. There's white, black, purple, red, blue, and yellow.

Film only costs around PHP 400 (about $8) and that only has ten.

    4. A Box Full of Things They Want

    Products:
    Powder (Shawill) - PHP 188
Eyeshadow Palette (Shawill) - PHP 195
BB Cream (Shawill) - PHP 199
Baby Doll Eyes: Bold Liquid Eyeliner - PHP 145
Three Lip balms - PHP 59 each
    Face Exfoliator - PHP 142
    Body Spray - PHP 59

I actually bought the eyeliner and exfoliator for myself, I will definitely do a review on that on a different post but right now all I could say is Wow you guys. I really like it. You can find all of these at any branch of Watsons nationwide.

A box full of something that they want- so, this actually depends on who you are going to give it to and in my case I'm going to give this out to my mother. You can get a box at the National Bookstore near you, prices depends on the size of what you're going to get.

Here are some other gift ideas you could give. It's better than a gift card at least!

    Calligraphy Pen
    Journal
    Colored Pens
    Bag
PS4 games (prices range from PHP 2,500 and up)
    Guitar
    Ukulele
    Pillow
    Stuffed Toys
    Polaroid Films
    Towels
    Hair Straightener
    Cologne
    Phone Case
    Accessories
    Makeup
    Watch
    Clothes
    Wallet
    Book

    Hey guys!

The other day I went to try this liquid lipstick that I've ordered online from Shopee PH and I noticed that when I tried to take it off I had a really hard time in doing so. I wasn't really sure if that's how a liquid lipstick is supposed to be but according to my research it is, especially when it's matte.

So when I was trying to wipe it off with a wet tissue I suddenly remembered this hack that I was taught of in removing long wear lipsticks which is to rub petroleum jelly over your lips. To be honest, I was inspired to write this article because of that. I hope you guys enjoy and I hope that I was able to help you somehow by reading this!

Petroleum Jelly: Uses and Its Benefits

Petroleum Jelly is a mixture of natural waxes and mineral oils that together locks moisture in skin, moisturizing it to repair and relieve dryness. (source)

    1. Makeup Remover

As I've said before I used this [petroleum jelly] to remove that lipstick that I've put on my lips easily. I could say the same for using it as a makeup remover. If you're looking for a cheap way to remove your makeup this it you guys.

    2. Homemade Exfoliator

Ingredients: 2 tbsp Vaseline (petroleum jelly)
                           1 tbsp fine sugar

Once in awhile we all need to exfoliate our skin so that we can remove dry and dead skin cells on the surface of our skin. Instead of buying an expensive exfoliator scrub you can make your own homemade exfoliator using just the ingredients listed above.

Personally, I do this once every week because I am a busy student and honestly I have no time to do this even twice a week and this routine pretty much works for me. I believe that my face has gotten healthier looking than before.

    3. Removing Dry Skin (Body Scrub)

    Ingredients: 2 tbsp Vaseline
                           1 tbsp sea salt

This is something I've found online that I haven't tried yet so I will update you on that via twitter (the link is at the footer). Since it is said that Petroleum Jelly or Vaseline is a good exfoliator to remove dry and dead skin cells, I'm expecting that it would do the same when I use it as a body scrub.

    4. For Longer Eyelashes

I'm not trying to brag but I was blessed with an already long eyelashes, thanks to my father's genes. But of course like many other girls I also want my lashes to be much longer. Here's a home remedy that I've found months ago that up until now I'm obsessed with doing.

    Steps:
    1. Use clean eyelash brush or toothbrush to apply vaseline.
    2. Use Q tips to apply at the base of your eyelashes.
    3. Leave on overnight.
    4. Wash with lukewarm water.

I do this routine for three to four times a week.

I've also found an alternative way to this. The steps or procedures are basically the same but this one includes two ingredients which are baby powder and of course, vaseline. So in this alternative way you need to dip your eyelash brush in baby powder then cover it in vaseline. Do this for a few weeks and your lashes will [apparently] get longer and curled.

    5. Moisturizing Your Lips

My lips tends to dry a lot and I constantly need to put some lipbalm onto my lips and sometimes when I run out of it, I use petroleum jelly to moisturize my lips instead. I mean it is said that it locks moisture in the skin.

    6. Neaten Your Nail Polish

First of all, I just hate it when I'm applying a nail polish and I accidentally paint outside my nails and it gets on the skin around it because it's hard to remove without having to ruining my masterpiece. But luckily for me, I've found out that I could just dab some petroleum jelly on the skin around the nails before polishing so that it'd be easier for me to remove the nail polish that got on the skin around it.

    7. Prevents "Ashy" Knees and Elbows

I don't know why but my elbows tend to get "ashy" a lot more than I want it to and it honestly ruins my mood. Well, it was a good thing I've found an article about how vaseline prevents your knees and elbows from being "ashy" and this works for me.
