About a week ago I went to the nearest store to go buy some materials that I needed for school when I walked past Watson and saw that they had this table lined up at the front of their store with this sign that says "For Sale". Being the curious person that I am and the love I have for Watson I immediately went to it and saw a bunch of makeup products being sold at a cost of at least PHP 300 (about $6) and below.




I was on budget since I only went to the store just to get materials but I managed to buy two makeup products that I was running out of and another two eyeshadow palettes. Most of the products that I bought are from Ever Bilena and the total money that I spent was only PHP 410 (about $ 8.23).






This is also from Ever Bilena Perfect Eye Concealer that I got for PHP 100 (about $2).

Regarding its shade I don't know if they have any other one's because that was the only thing that I saw, but since it's a concealer I believe it comes with other shades as well so we'll see about that.

I took a swatch of the concealer on my wrist and as you can see it doesn't look like my shade but when I blended it, It blended perfectly with my skin and also it had a sort of a creamy texture to it.

The only thing that I am worried about is how they feel "sticky" on my face, maybe it's because I haven't put any foundation on before trying it on or maybe because I haven't set it with a powder. Or maybe it's because it's creamy? I don't know but either way I won't be buying this concealer again, it doesn't suit my skin.





This eyeshadow palette on the other hand is from Ever Bilena again that I got for PHP 150 (about $3). They had a lot of variations but I chose this palette with colors that are neutral brown, black, and white to keep it simple.

This palette is not that big nor small, a perfect size to bring with you everywhere you go if you want to touch up your makeup. Follow my blog with Bloglovin

For those of you who don't know what Shopee PH is, it is a mobile app where you can buy and sell things like makeup product, bag, clothes, and even accessories etc., exclusively in the Philippines.

While browsing through Facebook I came across an ad for this and saw that they were selling makeup brushes, and at that time I was really desperate into buying one so I decided to give the app a try. Luckily, it was a free app so there's that.

There was so many options, products to choose from I didn't exactly know where to start. I was overwhelmed. Yes, I actually forgot why I downloaded the app in the first place.

Anyway so I was browsing the makeup section when I came across a user who was selling this 10 pieces of makeup brush set for only PHP 299 (about USD 6)! I mean can you imagine that. I was expecting these type of deals to be around PHP 700 or more with the amount of brushes but wow, this was a good deal.

Of course I immediately put that on my cart.

Since I was new to Shopee PH they had sent me a welcoming message and a PHP 100 off discount to the total amount of price that I will buy. And since I only had one item on my cart, the makeup brushes, I decided to why not browse some more.

I stumbled upon this bag called the Unisex Anello Two way Backpack and Handbag, or at least that's what it says on the Title of the product. It had multiple choice regarding its color, but I chose the red and white one because I think it's really pretty. And indeed it was when I got it. The bag cost about PHP 399 (about USD 8.02) which is crazy! Because it's cheap and yet it's really cute and fashionable.

Unfortunately when I went to check if the Kabuki Brushes were still available, they are all sold out.

A month ago my mom had discovered a video on YouTube on how apple cider vinegar helps you achieve that flawless look, flawless skin on your face and decided to try it onto herself. She invited my brother and I to do the same and I thought why not try it since I don't really have anything to lose, well except if the routine went wrong and made me break out now that's a lose. 

Luckily that didn't happen to me and to this day I still do the routine. 

My research has shown me that apparently since the pH level of apple cider vinegar is similar to the pH level of the protective acid mantle layer of our skin, this soak will help restore balance. Mix together one tablespoon apple cider vinegar and two cups water. Moisten a cotton ball, and swipe the mixture over a clean, dry face to tighten skin (according to source). 

From what I understand reading the article from where I got that from, basically, apple cider vinegar not only helps us prevent acne and make nail polish last longer but there are many benefits to it as well. 

So how exactly does apple cider vinegar helps us from breaking out? Since it is anti-bacterial it kills the bacterias that clogs our pores that causes us to have acne. It contains the essential vitamins, minerals, anti-oxidants, acetic acid, and all those other things that our body needs to prevent acne (according to source).

For a student like me this is a useful and cheap way for achieving that flawless skin. Even if I am already drowning with school works and problems, at least I look good. 

Routine:

Mix 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar with 3 teaspoons of water. I put this on my face before and after taking a shower everyday. Leave it to dry then rinse with warm water.


We bought our Apple Cider Vinegar from the grocery store, you can find it anywhere, for PHP 189 (about USD 3.8)  if you were wondering.

The other day I went to go get some Milk at the grocery store and of course on the way there there was Watsons. I couldn't resist the temptation to go in and I am so glad that I did.









I was in need for a good lip moisturizer and what better more than to check out the lip balm section, and so I found this Lipice Water Colour Moisturizer. It is available in four shades, Fantasy Pink, Kissy Pink, Sexy pink, and Vintage Pink.



I got the vintage pink one because I want it look on my lips as close to natural as possible. I don't know if what I just said makes sense but I hope you get it.


I bought this for PHP 115 (about USD 2.35) it is pretty expensive compare to the usual lip balm that I buy which cost for about PHP 89 thats about USD 1.82.

But anyway as I tried it on I can say that the vintage pink shade is close to my lip color and that it really does moisturize my lips. And let's hope that it really does what its says at the back of its packaging, enriched with Maxilip that helps to reduce fine lines and Vitamin E an anti-oxidant to help keep lips healthy and supple.

Today I went to the store in search for affordable makeup products that is substantially essential with our daily lives, a pocket-friendly price that students such as myself could afford, or products that you could easily buy (without having to worry about spending too much) and easily replace when you run out of it.






So the products that I had bought are the following:

•Primer
•Eyebrow Pencil
•Face Powder
•Beauty Blender

I was able to find these products at Watsons. Thank God they had it otherwise it would've been difficult for me to find products like these.
